Easy Pepper Patty Balls: Spicy & Crispy
Crispy, spicy, and easy to make—these Pepper Patty Balls are a crowd-pleaser! Just a handful of ingredients and 20 minutes for a snack that packs a punch.
Ingredients
(Makes 12 balls)
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 bell pepper, finely diced (any color)
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust for heat)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
For the Dipping Sauce:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (like sriracha)
Instructions
1. Mix It Up
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, diced bell pepper, onion, jalapeños, salt, paprika, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.
2. Roll Into Balls
- Scoop about 1.5 tbsp of the mixture and roll into small balls.
3. Fry Until Golden
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the balls for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
4. Make the Sauce
- Mix mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl.
5. Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve warm with the dipping sauce.
Tip: For extra crispiness, air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes instead of frying.
