Easy Pepper Patty Balls: Spicy & Crispy

Crispy, spicy, and easy to make—these Pepper Patty Balls are a crowd-pleaser! Just a handful of ingredients and 20 minutes for a snack that packs a punch.


Ingredients

(Makes 12 balls)

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper, finely diced (any color)
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1-2 jalapeños, finely chopped (adjust for heat)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

For the Dipping Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce (like sriracha)

Instructions

1. Mix It Up

  • In a bowl, combine ground beef, diced bell pepper, onion, jalapeños, salt, paprika, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well.

2. Roll Into Balls

  • Scoop about 1.5 tbsp of the mixture and roll into small balls.

3. Fry Until Golden

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the balls for 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

4. Make the Sauce

  • Mix mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl.

5. Serve & Enjoy!

  • Serve warm with the dipping sauce.

Tip: For extra crispiness, air-fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes instead of frying.
